Terms and Conditions
In using the Council of Objects site and/or online store (the shop), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:
Any and all of the content that appears on the Council of Objects website, including all visuals and text, are subject to intellectual property rights or licenses held by Council of Objects. Limited license is granted to access and share the content on this website. Content may only be reproduced for commercial purposes with written consent from Council of Objects management and requires full credit to the collective work by Council of Objects (styling), Guvnor (Design), Weekends (Code), Sven Kovac (Photography) and all makers involved.
Council of Objects reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of an error on the shop’s website. Once an order has been made and payment received, the customer accepts that they have committed to the purchase. For a purchase to be undone the customer must immediately contact Council of Objects. We aim to fulfil orders in a timely and safe manner. For any circumstance outside of our control, we reserve the right to deny the fulfilment of an order. In such case, we will immediately notify the customer, who will then have right to cancel the order.
We ship worldwide. However, some items are limited to shipping within Australia. On finalising your order an email will be sent detailing what you have purchased from our shop. Please check we have your correct postal address as items will be delivered to the address you have supplied. If you have left any additional details please ensure these are also accurate. TIP: using a business address can help to avoid delays. Items will be posted after payment has been finalised. Council of Objects will not be held responsible for lost or damaged goods while in transit. Once your order has been shipped it is out of our control. However, if in the event an item is lost or damaged we will supply the customer with as much detail of the carrier as possible. The customer can then outline any correspondence in relation to questions and concerns about a missing item or damaged goods directly to the carrier. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
We use Australia Post to ship all our domestic orders. Please allow 2 - 7 business days to dispatch orders and 2+ business days to receive your items unless otherwise stated. On shipping your order, you will receive an email with tracking information. Please allow up to 12 hours for tracking information to be updated.
International post will use domestic air and international services via Australia Post. Please allow 2+ weeks to receive your items unless otherwise stated. You may be responsible for any import taxes or duties on international orders. In addition, some orders may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for additional information.
